So I just finished listening to the Green Beam for the second time and I am lovin it. I read your brief write up on it and you say it is reminiscent of old. I completely get that feeling. You have a way of building up on somthing that is already built and you know its coming. For example, at around 54mins. right before the "green Beam" comes in. You feel it, it grabs your attention and you know your on the verge of something big. Your mixes have always been a journey or a ride that you don't know where they're heading. Its like you're on space mountain flowing through the darkness having a great time. The ride slows and you wonder whats next. Then boom the "green beam" comes in and your car hooks up to the lift. You feel it climbing, building and you know your about to climax. Without warning your racing down the back side, flying through empty space and loving ever minute of it. This is a mix you don't want to end. A ride, that even though you have been on it before, you still want to go again. Now knowing what's next, it keeps you coming back for the rush you get when you hit the "green beam"!
